What are DRM-free ebooks?
Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a technology that encrypts eBooks and ties them to the specific app or device that sells them. Because of this encryption, we cannot properly decode DRM-protected EPUB files to use them in our app.
Therefore, we only accept DRM-free EPUB files to ensure compatibility and provide a seamless experience for our users. This allows you to enjoy your eBooks on any device without restrictions.
What are TBF files?
A Typable Book File (TBF) is our custom book format, that contains all the data needed to use the book on our website, without any setup. You can create the TBF file by importing any other supported format, and then using the
Exportaction on the book details page. You can also export all your private books as a single TBF file in Settings.You can then import that book on other devices, or share it with others.
